Dr. Charles Schof

Charles Schof grew up in Metairie, Louisiana. After graduating from Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, he attended Louisiana State University and the University of New Orleans. In 1994, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. In 2004 he received his fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. He later received mastership status in 2005.

Each year, Dr. Schof participates in more than 100 hours of post-graduate education and training—many times more than the minimum required by the state of Louisiana. His objective is to increase his knowledge, and to bring the most current and advanced techniques to patients in Mandeville, Covington, and the greater New Orleans area. Dr. Schof and his team are trained and experienced in treating general dental problems, as well as the most complex reconstructive cases, all of which are completed in his office.

Dr. Schof practices preventive and conservative dentistry. His goal is to help you achieve and maintain a healthy smile, so you can avoid the need for restorative work. When restorative work is necessary, you’ll be impressed with the beauty and natural appearance of his work. Dr. Schof is particularly interested in dental implants and same-day crowns because these treatments allow him to provide patients with exceptional customer service and quality of life.
